Summary of Experience:
Lacey has lived most of her life in Terre Haute, Indiana; attending Terre Town Elementary, otter Creek Middle School and North High School. Lacey is the oldest of six. She has two sets of twins for siblings. Lacey has an awesome and supportive family. She is engaged to be married in August 2012.
Lacey began working for Hamilton Center in May 2006 after graduating from Anderson University with her bachelor's degree in social work. Lacey worked in the group home as a program assistant; coordinating and facilitating daily activities to work on independent living skills, coping skills and problem-solving.
In January 2007, Lacey began working for Wraparound Vigo County as a wraparound facilitator to provide intensive outpatient services to clients and families. Lacey began working with the CA-PRTF grant through Department of Mental Health and Addictions (DMHA) and many community partners to meet the needs of clients and families.
In August 2010, Lacey graduated from University of Southern Indiana with her masters in social work and began working as a therapist in Child & Adolescent Services at Hamilton Center. Lacey provided outpatient, school-based and home-based therapy services to children and families for a little over 2 years at Hamilton Center.
In November 2010, Lacey earned her licensure (LSW) through the state of Indiana. In September 2012, Lacey started as a program manager for Child & Adolescent Services and Wraparound Vigo County, as well as the State Hospital Gatekeeper. Lacey continues to work with DMHA and Division of Aging to provide grant services to children and families in the wraparound program. Lacey assesses and assists in admitting children into the state hospital, participates in treatment team meetings and visits children placed into the state hospital. Lacey is currently working on a grant proposal to receive funds to purchase needed items for wraparound team meetings, graduations and fees for children to participate in community activities. Lacey is pursuing her LCSW licensure with the state of Indiana.
