Jay Cimmer, MS, LMFT
Jay Cimmer has almost 15 years experience working in the mental health field as a licensed, clinical therapist. He has his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. He’s worked in various milieus, including residential, community mental health, school and home-based, with a wide range of ages and issues. He has worked with children starting at age 5/6, up to and including the geriatric community, covering issues including depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, ADHD, panic, conduct, enuresis and encopresis, low self esteem, opposition and defiance, sibling and partner relational conflicts, sleep disturbance, bi-polar, and chemical dependence. He’s worked with individuals, couples, families, and groups.
He is currently employed at the Hamilton Center, Spencer office, starting in the fall 2010. He is from Detroit, has lived and worked in both California and Connecticut, and has been a resident of Indiana since July 2003.
