Christine ("Christy") Pryor, MSW, LSW
Christine ("Christy") Pryor, MSW, LSW is a graduate of the University of Southern Indiana Masters of Social Work program where she was inducted into Phi Alpha Honor Society. Christy is a Licensed Social Worker with the state of Indiana. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Human Services from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College. Christy has 11 years of experience working in community mental health, where a large portion of her experience entailed working as a case manager/client representative for those with severe mental illness in group home and rehabilitative day treatment settings. Christy completed her Master's internship on the Behavioral Health Unit of Memorial Hospital and at Southern Hills Counseling Center in Jasper, IN. Currently, Christy is a clinical therapist at the Bloomfield office of Hamilton Center, Inc. where she conducts therapy groups for those with substance abuse and dependence diagnoses, and sees clients and families in individual sessions. She prefers working with adults and is particularly interested in working with victims of trauma, and those with clinical depression and anxiety. She has received training in the treatment of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder and ADHD, as well as in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
