Eligible employees at Hamilton Center, Inc., enjoy a benefits package that offers many options.
Health Insurance: Includes vision screenings and prescription plan. A portion of the premium is paid by the Center. Employees have the coverage options of Employee only, Employee/Child(ren), Employee/Spouse, or Family.
Dental Insurance: A portion of the premium is paid by the Center. Employees have the coverage options of Employee only, Employee/Child(ren), Employee/Spouse or Family.
Guardian Vision Services: Allows employees to receive up to a 50% discount on glasses and/or contact from a list of participating providers.
Flexible Benefits Plan: Allows employees to pay for medical and/or dental premiums with pre-tax dollars. Also allows employees to set aside pre-tax dollars to pay for un-reimbursed or out-of-pocket medical expenses, and the dependent care (day care) expenses.
Life Insurance/Accidental Death and Dismemberment: Available at no cost to the employee. Amount of insurance is 2x employee's annual salary.
Retirement Plan: The center contributes 6% of an employee's gross earnings into a retirement account. Qualified employees of the Center become participants in the retirement plan on January 1 or July 1 following one year of employment. To be eligible, an employee must have worked at least 1,000 hours during the plan year.
403(b) Tax Deferred Annuity: Allows employees to contribute pre-tax dollars to a retirement savings plan.
Paid Time-Off: Combines traditional vacation, personal, and sick leave into one plan to provide eligible employees flexibility of time off. The amount of PTO that accrues each pay period beginning after 90 days is based on the employee’s number of years of service and job classification. This time may be used, cashed out, or rolled over to the next year (limits or restrictions may apply).
8 Paid Holidays: Hamilton Center, Inc., recognizes the following paid holidays in addition to the PTO schedule: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.
Tuition Assistance: Regular, full-time employees are eligible to be reimbursed up to $500 per semester ($10,000 lifetime) of the tuition costs of approved courses taken at approved institutions.
Long-Term Disability: A full-time regular employee is eligible on the 91st day of a non pre-existing extended illness for long-term disability insurance coverage. The Center provides the long-term disability coverage at no cost to the employee.
Short-Term Disability: A full-time regular employee is eligible for short-term disability beginning the 46th day of a non-occupational extended illness. The program provides monthly benefits after extended periods of disability caused by non-occupational injury or illness. The covered, eligible employee will receive a weekly benefit during the continued disability period from the 46th to the 91st day of a qualifying disability.
Benefit and Retirement Statement: Eligible employees will receive an annual personalized statement to help the employee with financial planning.
Other benefits also available include: Supplemental Life Insurance for employees and dependents, additional short-term disability protection, cancer expense protection, hospital intensive care plan, income security plus, and paid training, and assistance in obtaining Continuing Educational Units (CEUs).
