Building Hope, Changing Lives…

Hamilton Center, Inc. is a regional behavioral health system in Central and West Central Indiana. The corporate offices are located in Terre Haute. Hamilton Center is building hope and changing lives for thousands of adults, children, couples and families. The offices are designed to be convenient, private and confidential, reducing the barriers sometimes associated with seeking psychological health treatment. Hamilton Center employs over 600 staff statewide, including psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, social workers, therapists, counselors, case managers, etc.

Services are provided to children, adolescents and adults, with specialized programs for pregnant women, infants, and people with drug and alcohol problems. Counseling services are provided for people who may be struggling with stress, life changes, or relationship issues as well as more serious problems such as depression, anxiety disorders, serious mental illnesses.

Hamilton Center has been providing quality mental health services in the State of Indiana for over 30 years. Established in 1971, Hamilton Center was named in honor of Katherine Hamilton, an outspoken advocate for improved mental health care.

Hamilton Center is licensed as a community mental health center and managed care provider for the State of Indiana by the Indiana Division of Mental Health and Addiction. The organization is accredited by Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).

Hamilton Center Employee Recognized as a “Hero in the Fight” - January 11, 2010

On December 17th, several hundred individuals gathered at a luncheon at the Omni Severin Hotel in downtown Indianapolis to honor five individuals who were selected from nominees across the state as a “Hero in the Fight,” a recognition program that was established by Lilly USA to celebrate dignity, courage, hope and recovery in the ongoing treatment of people with serious and persistent mental illness. Pandemic Influenza Preparedness Video -May 5, 2009
